Vallejo True Metallic Metal — Amethyst Purple (Light)

Subject: Miniatures

Rich violet metallic — Tzeentch, Slaanesh, Thousand Sons, Dark Eldar/Drukhari, Nighthaunt, necromancer artefacts.

Role: Highlight tone. Apply on raised edges and focal points over the Base coat to build contrast.

How to use the TMM system: Apply the Base coat first as your primary metallic layer. Wash recesses with the Shade to add depth. Build highlights on raised edges with the Light. Use the Airbrush variant for airbrushed base coats and zenithal pre-highlighting.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
