Vallejo Model Air — AEH-9 Light Grey
Subject: Aircraft
Soviet AEH-9 light grey — VVS aircraft underside and neutral surfaces. Used on Il-4, Pe-8 heavy bomber, and some Li-2 variants as belly colour. Also found on late-war lend-lease aircraft resprayed in partial Soviet schemes 1943–1945.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
