Vallejo Model Air — PRU Pink
Subject: Aircraft
Royal Air Force PRU Pink — experimental photoreconnaissance 1940–1941. Spitfire PR Mk.I (early, Type A/B/C), Supermarine Spitfire PR Mk.IV (some early examples). A brief experimental phase of the PRU programme before PRU Blue became standard. Very distinctive and unusual — only a handful of aircraft carried this scheme.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
