Vallejo Model Air — UK BSC28 Silver Grey

Subject: Aircraft

British Standard Camouflage Colour BSC 28 Silver Grey (approx. FS 36373 / FS 36463 range) — light grey tone used for vehicles and equipment, often in Mediterranean and NW Europe theaters, approx. 1941–1945. Applied to: Churchill Mk.III–VI, Cromwell, Crusader III (late), Valentine variants, Sherman II/V (British service), Daimler and Humber armoured cars, Universal Carrier. Also seen on RAF ground equipment and support vehicles. Used in Italy Campaign (1943–45), Sicily (1943), and NW Europe (1944–45).

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
