Vallejo Model Air — Russian Air Force Grey #3
Subject: Aircraft
Soviet/Russian Air Force grey shade 3. MiG-21PFM/MF, Su-7BM, MiG-23M standard overall grey scheme 1960sā1980s. Used on tactical aircraft based in the western USSR and Soviet allies during the Cold War.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
