Vallejo Model Air — Dark Slate Grey
Subject: Aircraft
Dark Slate Grey — Coastal Command and overwater scheme. Short Sunderland Mk.III (No.201 Sqn, Castle Archdale), Consolidated Liberator (No.86 Sqn), and some Fleet Air Arm aircraft. A cool dark grey used in Atlantic and North Sea operations.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
