Vallejo Model Air — US Earth Yellow

Subject: Armour

US Earth Yellow (approx. FS 30257 / FS 33448 range) — dry terrain camouflage tone, used for blending with arid and dusty environments, approx. WWII field application through modern training use. Applied to: M4 Sherman (North Africa and training), M3 Lee/Grant (US service), M8 Greyhound, Halftracks (M3/M5), GMC trucks; later applied in training or experimental schemes to M60 Patton, M113 APC, and HMMWV. Used in North Africa (1942–43), US desert training (California/Arizona), and simulated desert operations.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
