Vallejo Model Air — Insignia White
Subject: Aircraft
US Navy Insignia White ANA 601 — tricolor scheme underside 1943–1945. F6F-3/5 Hellcat (TF 38, TF 58 carrier groups), F4U-1D/4 Corsair, TBF-1C/TBM-1C Avenger, SB2C-4 Helldiver. The lower surface colour of the Tri-Color scheme — very pure white. Also used on US national insignia star-and-bar markings on all military aircraft throughout the war.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
