Vallejo Model Air — Green RLM62

Subject: Aircraft

Luftwaffe RLM 62 Grün (Green; approx. FS 34096 / FS 34102 range) — early-war camouflage green used in pre-war and early WWII splinter schemes, approx. 1936–1941. One of the original triad (RLM 61/62/63) before replacement by RLM 70/71. Applied to: Messerschmitt Bf 109B/C/D, early Bf 109E-1 (transitional); Messerschmitt Bf 110B/C (early production); Heinkel He 111B/E/P (early variants); Dornier Do 17E/F/M; Junkers Ju 52/3m (transport and bomber roles); Henschel Hs 123; Heinkel He 51 (late service); Arado Ar 68; Focke-Wulf Fw 58 Weihe; early Junkers Ju 87A-0/A-1 prototypes and pre-production aircraft. Used in Spanish Civil War (Legion Condor 1936–39), Poland (1939), and early Blitzkrieg campaigns (France 1940). Gradually phased out and replaced by RLM 70/71 combination by 1941.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
