Vallejo Model Air — Rust
Subject: Universal
Standard rust — universal oxidised metal colour. The mid-range rust for vehicle hulls, ship fittings, railway stock, and any metal subject showing corrosion. Suitable for Sd.Kfz.250/251 corroded hulls, USN DD destroyer deck rust staining, and any long-term exposure weathering.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
