Vallejo Model Air — Sand/Ivory
Subject: Aircraft · Armour
Sand-ivory — light desert and tropical tone. Suitable for Italian Regia Aeronautica Giallo Mimetico 4 (desert yellow for Macchi C.200, C.202, Re.2001 in North Africa), USAF Tan light component (A-10, F-111 desert scheme), and general-purpose pale sand for Middle Eastern and desert theatre subjects.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
