Vallejo Model Air — Engine Grey (Dark Sea Grey)

Royal Air Force Engine Grey / Dark Sea Grey — Coastal Command and overwater operations. Consolidated Catalina Mk.IA/IB (No.210 Sqn), Short Sunderland Mk.I/II (early), Lockheed Hudson Mk.I/II (Coastal Command). Used on engine nacelles and cowlings where extra durability was required.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
