Vallejo Model Air — Middle Stone

British/Commonwealth Middle Stone (BS Light Stone / SCC 3) — desert standard 1940–1943. Crusader Mk.I/II/III (7th Armoured Division, Western Desert), Valentine Mk.II/III (8th Army), Matilda II (7th Royal Tank Regiment), Universal Carrier (LRDG variants). Also aircraft: Hurricane Mk.IIC (No.94 Sqn, Egypt), Tomahawk Mk.IIA (No.112 Sqn “Shark” noses). Upper surface Middle Stone was paired with Light Stone or Dark Earth depending on theatre and unit.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
