Yellow Ochre — Dunkelgelb highlight / sun fading
Ice Yellow — Extreme highlight and scale lightening

Weathering & modulation: Highlight panels with VLJ70913 Yellow Ochre mixed into base for sun-faded appearance. Extreme highlights on raised edges with VLJ70858 Ice Yellow. Pin wash panel lines with dark brown. Apply VLJ70983 Flat Brown thinned as a filter for Eastern Front dust accumulation.

Scale colour note: Dunkelgelb reads darker than scale. Lighten base 10–15% with VLJ70858 Ice Yellow at 1:35. At 1:72 lighten 15–20%.

Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
