Weathering & modulation: Apply VLJ70329 Rust as streaks from anchor points. Funnel grime with thinned VLJ70980. Salt residue: dry-brush VLJ70951 White lightly over horizontal surfaces.
Scale colour note: At 1:350 and 1:700 lighten all grey tones 20–25%.
Application: Water-based acrylic. Thin with water for brush painting, or Vallejo Acrylic Thinner for airbrushing. Add a few drops of Vallejo Flow Improver to cut surface tension, improve levelling, slow tip dry, and allow water-based acrylics to spray like a lacquer or solvent-based paint. Aim for a milk-like consistency.
