New Tool from Takom bringing the ZTZ-100 Main battle tank and ZRY-222 Unmanned Combat Ground Vehicle "Robot Wolves" Unmanned Combat System to life in 1/35 scale

The Type 100 tank (Chinese: ZTZ-100主战坦克) is a Chinese 4th-generation main battle tank. The tank was first officially seen in public in mid-August 2025 during rehearsals for the then upcoming Victory Day Parade to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the end of the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War, and officially debuted during the actual military parade in Tiananmen Square on 3 September 2025.

The ZRY-222 tracked combat robot has been used in infantry training drills aired on Chinese state television on January 5 2026. The broadcast sequence showed the ZRY222 operating as a close support asset rather than a standalone platform, moving in parallel with infantry and providing quick, localized firepower at the point of contact. The control concept appears centered on keeping soldiers under cover while projecting fire forward, with remote operators managing the robot from a nearby vehicle rather than from an exposed position on the line of advance.

"Robot Wolves"
Developed by China South Industries Group Corporation, the robot wolf debuted at Airshow China in Zhuhai in November 2024. Six months prior to that, it had already caught the attention of the US Congress, which had asked the Pentagon for an assessment of its potential threat. since then has been featured in many videos showcasing their combat prowess and training.
