SPECIAL REISSUE

The BMW R 75/5 is a West German civilian motorcycle that was presented to the public for the first time in 1969. Its serial production started in the same year and continued until 1973. The drive was provided by a two-cylinder 750 cm3 engine, generating a maximum power of 50 HP, allowing the vehicle to accelerate to 177 km / h. The BMW R 75/5 model belonged to the BMW / 5 series of motorcycles that went on sale or was presented in the period 1969-1970. They were characterized by the use of 2-cylinder air-cooled boxer engines with a capacity of 500, 600 and 750 cm3. It is worth adding that one of the main factories producing this series of motorcycles was located in West Berlin. The BMW R 75/5 also had a 4-speed foot gear transmission and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels. In 1974, the series / 6 appeared in the BMW offer, which replaced the / 5 series.
