A vivid, saturated turquoise-green tone — Russian Cockpit Turquoise, the distinctive cockpit interior colour used on Soviet and Russian military aircraft from 1967 onwards, covering the MiG-21 (from overhauled PF/PFM variants onward), and the full range of later Soviet fighters, bombers, and helicopters through to modern service. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC980 is the final colour in AK's 180-colour Real Colors range.

RC980 Russian Cockpit Turquoise has been in use for painting Soviet and Russian military aircraft cockpits since 1967 — initially on overhauled MiG-21PF/PFM airframes, then as standard on all later MiG-21 variants and all subsequent Soviet/Russian types. It is therefore correct for Soviet and Russian military aircraft cockpit and interior colour from 1967 to the present on the MiG-21 (overhauled PF/PFM and all later variants), MiG-23, MiG-25, MiG-27, MiG-31, Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-24, Tu-22M, Tu-95, and associated Soviet and Russian military aircraft of the period.
