Description
AKIRC977 - AK Interactive Real Colors AMT-11 Blue Grey 17 ml.
A medium, slightly warm blue-grey tone — AMT-11 Blue Grey, one of the two upper surface camouflage colours for Soviet mixed-construction fighters from the summer of 1943 through to approximately 1947–48, the lighter of the two tones in the definitive late-war VVS fighter camouflage scheme. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC977 is included in AK's Soviet Aircraft Colors 1941–1945 set.
RC977 AMT-11 Blue Grey was introduced as one of the two standard upper surface colours for Soviet mixed-construction fighter aircraft from the summer of 1943, pairing with AMT-12 Dark Grey (RC978) in the AMT-11/AMT-12/AMT-7 scheme. It was also used seldom on non-fighter aircraft in 1945. It remained in use until approximately 1947–48. It is therefore correct for VVS mixed-construction fighter upper surface colour summer 1943–~1947–48 in the AMT-11/AMT-12/AMT-7 scheme on the La-5FN/La-7, Yak-3, Yak-9, and other late-war Soviet fighters.
