Description
AKIRC976 - AK Interactive Real Colors AMT-7 Light Blue 17 ml.
A light, slightly warm sky-blue tone — AMT-7 Light Blue, the standard lower surface colour for all Soviet mixed-construction military aircraft (except night bombers) from mid-1941 through to approximately 1947–48, and the lower surface colour shared across every VVS camouflage scheme of the Second World War. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC976 is included in AK's Soviet Aircraft Colors 1941–1945 set.
RC976 AMT-7 Light Blue was the basic lower surface colour for all Soviet mixed-construction military aircraft from mid-1941 until approximately 1947–48, excluding night bombers. It therefore appears in all standard VVS camouflage schemes of the period — AMT-4/AMT-6/AMT-7 (mid-1941 to summer 1943), AMT-11/AMT-12/AMT-7 (fighter, summer 1943–end of war), and AMT-1/AMT-4/AMT-12/AMT-7 (non-fighter, summer 1943–end of war) — as the universal lower surface tone. It was also occasionally used for interior surfaces. It is therefore correct for VVS lower surface colour mid-1941–~1947–48 on all mixed-construction military aircraft including the Il-2, LaGG-3, La-5/7, Yak-1/7/9, Pe-2, Tu-2, Il-4, MiG-3, and the full range of Soviet WWII combat types.
