A dark, slightly warm olive green tone — RLM 80 Olivgrün, the additional disruptive upper surface camouflage colour applied to Luftwaffe tropical scheme aircraft in North Africa and the Mediterranean from 1941, and a close match to FS 34096 Green in the Czech Air Force camouflage scheme used from the 1990s to the present day. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC948 rounds out the three-colour Luftwaffe North Africa and Mediterranean upper surface scheme alongside RC947 RLM 79 and RC946 RLM 78.

RC948 RLM 80 was introduced around the spring of 1941 as the disruptive upper surface camouflage colour applied at depot or unit level over the base RLM 78/79 tropical scheme on Luftwaffe aircraft operating in North Africa and the Mediterranean Theatre. It is therefore correct for Luftwaffe upper surface disruptive camouflage in the North Africa and Mediterranean tropical scheme from spring 1941, applied over the RLM 79 sand base on types including the Bf 109E/F/G, Bf 110, Ju 88, He 111, Ju 87, and Ju 52 in Mediterranean and North African service. Additionally, RC948 is a close match to FS 34096 Green, making it applicable for the Czech Air Force upper surface camouflage scheme from the 1990s to present on the Mi-2, Mi-8, Mi-17, Mi-171, Mi-24, W-3, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, L-410, and C-295M.
