Description
AKIRC935 - AK Interactive Real Colors RLM 65 (1938) 17 ml.
A light, slightly greenish-blue grey tone — RLM 65 as recorded in the 1938 edition of the Luftwaffe colour regulations (L.Dv. 521/1), the standard lower surface camouflage colour for Luftwaffe operational aircraft across virtually the entire war. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC935 is included in AK's WWII Luftwaffe Early War Colors set and covers lower surfaces from the Spanish Civil War era through to late 1944.
RC935 RLM 65 (1938) represents the colour variant from the original 1938 Farbtontafel. It was the standard lower surface camouflage colour for Luftwaffe fighters from 1936 until approximately mid-1941, and for bomber, ground-attack, reconnaissance, maritime, and transport aircraft from 1936 until late 1944. It is therefore correct for Luftwaffe fighter lower surface colour 1936–mid-1941 including the Bf 109B/C/D/E/F, Bf 110B/C/D/E, He 51, He 112, and contemporaries; and Luftwaffe bomber, attack, reconnaissance, maritime, and transport lower surface colour 1936–late 1944 including the He 111, Do 17/217, Ju 88, Ju 87, Fw 200, He 115, Ju 52, Ju 290, He 177, and associated types throughout their operational lives.
