A medium, cool neutral grey tone matched to ANA 603 Neutral Grey — the standard lower surface colour for USAAF aircraft throughout the Second World War, and the direct complement to RC926 Dark Olive Drab 41 in the definitive USAAF two-tone scheme. RC928 Neutral Grey 43 (ANA 603) was applied to the lower surfaces of USAAF aircraft as the standard underside colour throughout WWII, forming the two-tone scheme with Dark Olive Drab 41 on upper surfaces.
