A light, pale grey tone corresponding to Federal Standard 36375 — the lower surface colour in the USAF three-tone Hill Grey scheme, one of the two tones in the Compass Ghost scheme, and the lower surface standard for US Navy and USMC Tactical Paint Scheme aircraft from the 1980s to the present. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC920 is included in AK's US Air Force & ANG Modern Aircraft Colors set and US Navy & USMC Modern Aircraft & Helicopter Colors set, and is one of the most widely applicable grey tones in modern US military aviation.

RC920 Light Ghost Grey FS 36375 is the lower surface colour in the three-colour Hill Grey scheme applied to USAF F-16A/Bs from the late 1970s until the early 1990s — and to early F-16s of several NATO air forces. It is also one of the two colours in the Compass Ghost scheme on USAF F-15s from the late 1970s until the early 1990s and on USAF A-10s from the 1990s to today, and serves as the lower surface standard for USN and USMC Tactical Paint Scheme aircraft from the 1980s to the present. It is therefore correct for USAF three-colour Hill Grey lower surface late 1970s–early 1990s on the F-16A/B Fighting Falcon and most NATO F-16 operators; USAF Compass Ghost scheme late 1970s–early 1990s on the F-15A/B/C/D Eagle, pairs with RC919 Dark Ghost Grey FS 36320; USAF A-10 Compass Ghost scheme 1990s–present on the A-10A/C Thunderbolt II; and USN and USMC Tactical Paint Scheme lower surface colour 1980s–present including the F-14A/B/D Tomcat, F/A-18A–F Hornet and Super Hornet, EA-18G Growler, E-2C/D Hawkeye, and associated carrier air wing types.
