A dark, slightly warm olive-green tone corresponding to Federal Standard 34087 — the standard overall colour for US Army vehicles and helicopters from the 1960s through to the mid-1980s. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC901 covers the core Vietnam War and Cold War era of US Army subjects, from ground vehicles in Southeast Asia to the helicopter fleet that defined the conflict — and continued in service well into the post-Vietnam decade.

RC901 Olive Drab FS 34087 is the standard overall finish applied to US Army ground vehicles throughout the 1960s and 1970s, and the fleet-wide helicopter colour from the 1960s until superseded by FS 34031 Helo Drab in 1985. It is therefore correct for US Army ground vehicles 1960s–1970s including the M113 APC, M48 and M60 Patton, M551 Sheridan, M109 howitzer, M548 cargo carrier, and associated soft-skin and wheeled types; and US Army helicopters from the 1960s until the mid-1980s including the UH-1B/C/D/H Iroquois (Huey), AH-1G/Q/S Cobra, CH-47A/B/C Chinook, OH-6A Cayuse, OH-58A/C Kiowa, and UH-60A Black Hawk in early service prior to the 1985 colour change.
