A very dark grey-black with a slight rubber-like tone corresponding to CARC Black (FS 37030, RAL 9021 F9) — the darkest disruptive colour of the NATO standardised three-colour camouflage scheme, used by the United States, Germany, France, Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, and other NATO and allied nations on military vehicles from the mid-1980s to the present. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC888 completes the NATO three-colour scheme alongside RC886 NATO Green and RC887 NATO Brown, and also appears as a disruptive colour in multiple other contemporary military vehicle schemes.

CARC Black FS 37030 is the third disruptive colour of the US NATO three-colour scheme — a black with a hint of grey, similar to rubber — applied as hard-edged disruptive bands over the CARC Green base and CARC Brown disruptive patches on all US Army and USMC AFVs from 1984 onward. FS 37030 is equivalent to RAL 9021 F9 and is used by the British Army for disruptive shapes over NATO Green since the early 1970s, by the German Army in the NATO Flecktarnanstrich three-colour scheme, by the French Army on AMX Leclerc, AMX-30, VBCI, and VAB, and by the Finnish Army in their 1981 splinter camouflage scheme. It covers all US Army and NATO temperate-environment AFV subjects with the three-colour scheme from 1984 onward, including the M1 Abrams, M2/M3 Bradley, M60A3, M109 Paladin, M270 MLRS, HMMWV, Leopard 2, Marder, AMX-30/Leclerc, Challenger 1/2, AS-90, and all associated NATO wheeled and soft-skin transport.
