A warm, khaki-toned grey-green corresponding to RAL 7008 Graugrün — a key German military camouflage colour used in the North African theatre and also one of the two standard German AFV interior colours of the Second World War. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Civil range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC853 RAL 7008 is essential for Afrikakorps and German AFV interior subjects.

The first official Afrikakorps camouflage scheme, introduced on 17 March 1941, specified RAL 8000 Grünbraun as the base colour with RAL 7008 Graugrün as the disruptive pattern covering one-third of the vehicle. This scheme was applied to all Panzer III, Panzer IV, Sd.Kfz. 251, Sd.Kfz. 221/222/231/232, Kübelwagen, Opel Blitz, and other wheeled and tracked vehicles deployed to North Africa from mid-1941 until the scheme was replaced in March 1942. Beyond exterior camouflage, RAL 7008 Graugrün was one of the two most common German AFV interior colours throughout the war alongside Elfenbein RAL 1001, favoured for its greater resistance to oil and dirt. It therefore appears on the interior surfaces, floor pans, equipment brackets, and fighting compartment walls of German armoured vehicles throughout the war wherever Graugrün was applied instead of or alongside the ivory Elfenbein colour.
