A medium-dark olive green corresponding to RAL 6003 Olivgrün — one of the two disruptive camouflage colours of the mid-to-late war German three-colour scheme and one of the most important colours in German WWII AFV modelling. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC852 is the standard camouflage colour used for painting vehicles and equipment of the German Army from the spring of 1943 until the end of World War II.

From April 1943, RAL 6003 Olivgrün was used to paint camouflage patches on German vehicles together with RAL 8017 Rotbraun over a base coat of RAL 7028 Dunkelgelb. Applied as an irregular field-applied disruptive pattern over the Dunkelgelb factory base coat, it appears on all major German AFV types of the mid-to-late war period including the Panzer IV, Panzer V Panther, Panzer VI Tiger I, Tiger II, StuG III and IV, Jagdpanther, Jagdpanzer IV, Nashorn, Hummel, Sd.Kfz. 251, and Sd.Kfz. 250. From 19 August 1944, all vehicles were to be painted at the factory in the Hinterhalt-Tarnung (ambush camouflage) pattern — Dunkelgelb base with Rotbraun and Olivgrün stripes and dots. In early 1945, RAL 6003 Olivgrün was itself designated as the new factory base coat to replace Dunkelgelb, though only a small number of vehicles were completed in this scheme before the end of the war. It is also a close match for the East German NVA vehicle colour Olivgrün 2415 TGL.
