A warm, creamy ivory corresponding to RAL 1001 Elfenbein — one of the two primary interior colours of German armoured vehicles during the Second World War, and one of the four essential colours in any German AFV interior painting scheme. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Military range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC851 is specifically formulated and positioned as a German WWII military vehicle interior colour.

RAL 1001 Ivory was used for painting the upper parts of the interior compartments of fully enclosed armoured vehicles during the 1930s–1940s, with the lower parts painted in RAL 7009 Hellgrau. Starting in 1944, all interiors were left in the red oxide primer. Elfenbein made the interior brighter, while Graugrün RAL 7009 was more resistant to oil and dirt. RC851 is therefore the correct upper interior colour for the Panzer III, Panzer IV, Tiger I, Tiger II, Panther, StuG III, Jagdpanther, Jagdpanzer IV, Sd.Kfz. 251, and Sd.Kfz. 250 — applied to upper hull interior walls, ceilings, turret interiors, and equipment brackets from the late 1930s through to mid-1944. It was also used on the inner sides of special truck bodies of the German Army and Waffen-SS. RC851 pairs directly with RC854 Hellgrau RAL 7009 for complete and accurate German AFV interior painting.
