A striking colour-shifting holographic pearl — a special effects lacquer that produces a multi-tonal iridescent finish shifting between pink, blue, green, and purple depending on viewing angle and lighting conditions. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Civil range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC850 Holographic Pearl is not a single-vehicle colour but a versatile special effects paint for custom automotive, motorcycle, and show car modelling where a dramatic, eye-catching finish is required.

Holographic Pearl is most at home on custom car and motorcycle show builds where iridescent and colour-shifting paint finishes are a defining aesthetic feature. It is specifically suited to Japanese domestic market (JDM) custom builds, low rider and show car subjects, and the vibrant custom paint schemes seen on modified import car dioramas. Applied over a white or silver base it produces a full holographic shift; over darker bases it creates a deep, subtle iridescence. It is also used in anime and sci-fi modelling for futuristic vehicle and mecha finishes, and as an accent or panel colour on any subject where a pearl or aurora effect is desired. As with all pearl and metallic finishes, application over a gloss base coat and coverage with a clear topcoat will produce the best result.
