A deep, dark British Racing Green — the traditional national racing colour of Great Britain and one of the most celebrated colours in the history of motorsport. British Racing Green was the mandated colour of all British-entered cars in international racing from the early 1900s until commercial sponsorship liveries replaced national colours in 1968. It remained in use on numerous iconic subjects beyond that point. In Formula 1 it is correct for the Vanwall, BRM P57, Cooper T51 and T55, Lotus 18, 21, and 24 — covering the Jack Brabham and Stirling Moss era — as well as the BRM P261 (Graham Hill) and the early Lotus 33 and 38 before the Gold Leaf sponsorship livery arrived.
