A bright, warm metallic gold formulated specifically to replicate the appearance of gold-finished alloy and magnesium racing wheel rims — one of the most visually striking details in automotive and motorsport scale modelling. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Civil range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC830 covers the full range of gold wheel rim applications across road car, racing, and motorcycle subjects.

Gold wheel rims have a long and celebrated association with some of the most iconic machinery in motorsport history. Historically, gold wheels are befitting a Ferrari — virtually all the 1960s race cars carried gold rims. RC830 is the correct colour for the Campagnolo cast magnesium wheels fitted to the Ferrari 330 P4, Ferrari 250 LM, Ferrari 312 P, and Ferrari 312 B F1 cars. In more recent subjects it is the correct tone for BBS Gold alloy wheels as fitted to the Porsche 964 Cup, Porsche 993 GT2, and BMW M3 E30 in period specification. For the JPS Lotus era, it provides the essential gold accent colour for the black-and-gold livery of the Lotus 72, 78, 79, and 98T.
