A dark, semi-metallic blue-grey that accurately replicates the appearance of blued or burnished steel — one of the most essential metallic colours in scale modelling. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Standard range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC819 Gun Metal carries over directly from the original RC015 in the previous 10ml glass bottle range.

On WWII and modern AFVs, it is the correct colour for exposed gun barrels, breech mechanisms, muzzle brakes, and running gear metal on vehicles including the Panzer IV, Tiger I, Panther, M4 Sherman, T-34, and Leopard 2.
