A deep, rich flame red referenced to RAL 3000 — one of the most essential colours in any scale modeller's arsenal and an accurate match for German red oxide primer. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Standard range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC810 delivers strong, opaque coverage with a flat finish straight from the airbrush.

RAL 3000 Flame Red is the correct colour for Rotbraun red oxide primer (RAL 8012), which was factory-applied to all German WWII AFVs beneath their camouflage coats. It is the colour that shows through chipped and worn surfaces on the Panzer III, Panzer IV, Tiger I, Tiger II, Panther, StuG III, Jagdpanther, Marder III, and Sd.Kfz. 251. Beyond chipping effects, it also appears on exposed track links, wheel hubs, and bare metal areas of virtually every Wehrmacht AFV. Additionally, RAL 3000 is used on German fire engines (Feuerwehr) of the WWII and postwar periods.
