A cool, slightly grey-tinted white referenced to RAL 9002 Grey White — an important and often-overlooked distinction from the warmer cream tones of RAL 9001. Part of the AK Interactive Real Colors Standard range in the new 17ml plastic dropper bottle, RC809 is the correct choice wherever a colder, more neutral white is required.

From October 1943, RAL 9002 replaced RAL 9001 as the official Wehrmacht winter camouflage white, applied as a washable emulsion over Dunkelgelb exteriors on the Eastern Front. This means it is the correct winter white for late-war subjects including the Panther Ausf. A and G, Tiger I (late production), Tiger II, Jagdpanzer IV, Jagdpanther, and Sd.Kfz. 251 variants from late 1943 through to 1945. It also appears on postwar Bundeswehr vehicles including the Leopard 1 and M48 Patton in German service, and on a range of modern NATO equipment where a clean, neutral grey-white is specified.
