A gloss varnish is an essential step in any serious modelling workflow: it creates the smooth, non-porous surface that allows decals to settle flat without silvering, and provides the ideal base for oil washes and panel line work before a final flat or satin coat is applied over top.

Lacquer-based and formulated for airbrush use, it self-levels to a clear, high-gloss finish without cloudiness or orange peel.
